Halloween Spirit

Halloween has never been a huge deal to me.

The most significant thing about Halloween happened 20 years ago. That’s when my youngest child was born. Yes, I have a Halloween baby!

I don’t decorate. I don’t dress up to give candy to the little ghouls and goblins who ring the doorbell. Most of all, I’m not a fan of older kids (late teens) trick-or-treating.

Does that make me a Scrooge? I don’t think so. To each their own. Right?

Do you go all out for Halloween?

I don't believe humans truly have a purpose. Our goal is to survive until we expire. Period. Joy is pleasurable and worrying is not. Balance in life is crucial; but if the scales must tip, may they tip on the side of joy. I’m just another human trying to survive. I blog because I can and because I enjoy it, not because it serves any purpose.
