Storytelling

A change of plans today left me with some time on my hands. What a great time to wander around Barnes & Noble. My current journal is going to be filled before the end of the year so I wanted to check out their current stock. I wasn’t that impressed with most of them. The fancy leather-bound journals don’t lie flat and are kind of pricey. I found some that lie flat and are kind of shabby chic.

Then I found a couple of books with writing prompts for under $10 and thought that might be fun. Writing about day-to-day random thoughts gets boring. For the times where nothing interesting is going on in my life, I can try my hand at storytelling.

Storytelling with writing prompts.

I can create lives that are interesting and full of adventure when mine isn’t.
