I’ve always loved writing. I’m better at getting thoughts out by writing than I am by speaking. Not only that, but not a lot of people find everything I have to say interesting. So here, on the off chance that someone reads what I write on any given day, they’re reading it because they either know me and are truly curious about what I have to say or because they searched the internet for a certain topic and one of my posts popped up in their search results. When I speak, I make a lot of left turns without signaling. Very few people can keep up with me. I can’t help it that my mouth can’t keep up with how fast things come to my mind! ๐Ÿ˜›ย Then there are the times where there are so many things in my mind that I want to blurt out without forgetting anything, but this traffic jam happens and nothing comes out at all. Frustrating.

These are just a few of the reasons I hate talking on the phone so much. The phone. UGH! Not only that, but background distractions are annoying when on the phone. That, plus talking on the phone can eat up a lot of time. Meeting someone in person to talk is a planned thing. Phone calls usually aren’t mutually planned. Inconvenient. It’s nothing personal. It really isn’t! Maybe I just solved my own dilemma – I need to planย phone calls.

I blog because I have a lot to say. It doesn’t matter if anyone else is interested in what I have to say or share the same opinion. What I write is personal. I try to keep every post from being highly opinionated, but I don’t make promises. Even when trying to express my opinion as delicately and diplomatically as I possibly can, there are bound to be people who will be offended or will strongly oppose my opinion. That’s alright! The world would be a boring place if we all shared the same opinion. ๐Ÿ˜€

My blog is as scattered as my mind. It’s not only filled with day-to-day happenings in the life of Sheila. I mix it up with many different things – some totally off the wall topics, some current hot topics, some Bible topics, etc. Read it all, read a few, don’t read at all. It’s all good!

Blogging isn’t for everyone. Some consider it a waste of time. To each his/her own! I enjoy it! ๐Ÿ™‚

I don't believe humans truly have a purpose. Our goal is to survive until we expire. Period. Joy is pleasurable and worrying is not. Balance in life is crucial; but if the scales must tip, may they tip on the side of joy. Iโ€™m just another human trying to survive. I blog because I can and because I enjoy it, not because it serves any purpose.

  1. It’s the other way around with me. I feel like I’m more flexible with talking words and I’m limited to a structure writing. But lately I have been able to find my voice.
