Here is a perfect example of how you can’t let a few good performances fool you. Many Idol wanna-bes have a few songs in their arsenal that they are very good at singing. Then they’re challenged to push themselves and step outside of their comfort zone, which is clearly not an easy thing to do for many of them. You’ll recall in my post about the first week, I raved about Karen. Her performance of “Hero” blew me away. Thereafter, I wasn’t impressed.

Paul should have been in the bottom three, not Haley, though. Curse that stupid Vote-for-the-Worst website! I don’t understand why people don’t like Haley. I want Thia to open up and USE that Adele sounding quality I know she has in there. I loveο»Ώ that! I wasn’t surprised to see Naima in the bottom three, though. She didn’t bring it this week. She’s also unique, but I don’t think she has enough control.

I don't believe humans truly have a purpose. Our goal is to survive until we expire. Period. Joy is pleasurable and worrying is not. Balance in life is crucial; but if the scales must tip, may they tip on the side of joy. I’m just another human trying to survive. I blog because I can and because I enjoy it, not because it serves any purpose.
