Castlewood Canyon State Park | The Hike

Apparently, Castlewood Canyon State Park has more to offer than I thought! We drove just past the entrance to the first parking area and took off down the first trail, which was not considered an “easy” trail. There were a few changes in the terrain along the way as well as a few mosquito havens. Yet, for as many mosquitoes as I shoo’d off of me, I do not have one bite! Being extremely sensitive to touch can work in your favor!

I used only my 85mm f/1.8 lens yesterday. I know! Not a lens you’d think to use for nature/landscape photography, but I wasn’t disappointed. Here are a few of my favorite shots…

I don't believe humans truly have a purpose. Our goal is to survive until we expire. Period. Joy is pleasurable and worrying is not. Balance in life is crucial; but if the scales must tip, may they tip on the side of joy. I’m just another human trying to survive. I blog because I can and because I enjoy it, not because it serves any purpose.
