“Teardrop” by Massive Attack (House theme song) came on right after I spent 25 minutes on the Gazelle. This new station I made hasn’t disappointed me yet – not one song “disliked”. I entered “Ray of Light” by Madonna, and I’m getting not only newer Madonna, but also Imogen Heap, The Postal Service, Weezer, and many others that I haven’t really heard of but am totally loving.  The Caesars? Who knew?! I can easily reach my monthly listening limit at this rate!

The first 19 minutes on the Gazelle covered a mile at a pace averaging about 4 MPH.  I focused on my arms, hips, and thighs for the remaining 6 minutes. Pushing and pulling your own body weight using the hand grips works different parts of the arms. Then there’s my beloved scissors for the inner thigh, hips, and lower buttocks. (Yes, I said buttocks!)

Now to figure out a schedule to alternate Gazelle and Yoga…

I don't believe humans truly have a purpose. Our goal is to survive until we expire. Period. Joy is pleasurable and worrying is not. Balance in life is crucial; but if the scales must tip, may they tip on the side of joy. I’m just another human trying to survive. I blog because I can and because I enjoy it, not because it serves any purpose.
