If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em! I found plenty of quaint, cozy vacation rental homes in Deleware. I even found quite a few with extremely charming facades. However, when I scrolled down to the interior photos, nothing jumped out at me and screamed, “Pick me!” Don’t get me wrong; they were lovely and clean. They just weren’t what I’m looking for.

I even tried other vacation rental websites to no avail. VRBO.com still had the largest selection, and I did see The Purple House on at least one other site. I just thought the photos were clearer on this particular site. At first glance on the index page, I chuckled a little and kept scrolling. I was intrigued, though, and eventually clicked the link to check it out. To my surprise, it wasn’t stark on the inside! There are charming qualities throughout, especially the kitchen. The decor seems to have a blend of styles, but it’s done so seamlessly that it works, and I love that! You can see some larger photos here.

I guess I realized that “charming” doesn’t always mean small. A larger group can certainly find places to stay together and still enjoy a bit of charm and character!

If you’ve happened to stumble upon this blog, this is actually part of a series. Be sure and check out the others as well! Also, scroll to the bottom and read my disclaimer under “What I Write”.

I don't believe humans truly have a purpose. Our goal is to survive until we expire. Period. Joy is pleasurable and worrying is not. Balance in life is crucial; but if the scales must tip, may they tip on the side of joy. I’m just another human trying to survive. I blog because I can and because I enjoy it, not because it serves any purpose.
