Unfounded Threat

Someone apparently vandalized Jason’s ex-girlfriend’s car, and she thinks it was Jason. Her mom texted Jason so he called to find out what she was talking about. The ex’s dad said in the background that he would make our lives a living hell … watch out … Jason and big momma are gonna get it. That’s a threat! Jason leaves the house at 6:30 am for school 45 min away, comes home, changes, eats, & leaves for work 15 min in the opposite direction, then doesn’t get home until about 10:30 pm. He and his current girlfriend (1 yr as of yesterday) are extremely happy, and he could care less about the ex.

“Ex” also thinks that I give her dirty looks whenever I see her at the store she works at (being vague on purpose). I knew she was very insecure, but WOW! If she would actually stop ducking and running when she sees me in the store, she might see that I would actually smile and say hello. I have nothing against the girl, and in fact, I appreciate that she “released” Jason from her snare.

Jason is either at school, work, or in bed. Yesterday, he left at 8:00 am with his girlfriend to spend their 1-year anniversary in the mountains. Then they were here the rest of the evening with us. Let them bring on the cops! We know it wasn’t Jason. It happened in the parking lot of the store she works at, so why not search video to find out who did it? Sheesh! Considering the time of day, the woman’s probably two (or six) sheets to the wind already.

I don't believe humans truly have a purpose. Our goal is to survive until we expire. Period. Joy is pleasurable and worrying is not. Balance in life is crucial; but if the scales must tip, may they tip on the side of joy. I’m just another human trying to survive. I blog because I can and because I enjoy it, not because it serves any purpose.
