Did you know that your body can have cravings? It’s true! If you start working some exercise into your routine and then miss a day, your body lets you know. I had to change my routine around today to make time for a doctor’s appointment, so I skipped the Gazelle. Body’s reaction? “What about ME?”
I have noticed some changes already, and I haven’t been consistent or even very demanding of my body yet. I feel more power in my walk (if that makes sense). I actually want to run a little! I know! Me? Run? I actually broke into a jog from my car to the doctor’s office building, then from the elevator all the way down the hall to his office. Very short distances, but that’s not the point. My body wanted to do that. That’s exciting and motivating!
I thought the increased palpitations might be related to starting to exercise. However, after reading back through blog posts, I see that they started before I started exercising. Also, another testament to how fast time is flying by, I thought this was going on for just over a week. It has been going on for just over two weeks. I do notice more issues when I don’t get enough sleep. Speaking of which… I’m already up past my new bedtime!
