Finally, Andrew was sent home.  Also going home is Katie.  Though Andrew’s time was due weeks ago, Katie shouldn’t have gone home yet.  Aaron should have gone instead.

I didn’t feel compelled to blog about this week’s shows immediately because they just weren’t that great.  Elvis was a legend in his own time but, sadly, I don’t think his music is surviving as long as the name Elvis.  Song choices were horrible, and the arrangements were even worse.  Mike would be the exception as far as arrangements.

Once again, Tim WOW’d me with solid vocals.  Good for him for NOT taking Adam’s advice to take it to his head voice and end the song high!  That would have been so wrong for him.  Tim has a wonderful, rich lower register, and he should showcase that.  I’d like to hear him take on What A Wonderful World from the Inspirational Song List for next week.

I don't believe humans truly have a purpose. Our goal is to survive until we expire. Period. Joy is pleasurable and worrying is not. Balance in life is crucial; but if the scales must tip, may they tip on the side of joy. I’m just another human trying to survive. I blog because I can and because I enjoy it, not because it serves any purpose.
