Free Day at Denver Art Museum

I tried to think of some things we could do this past week since the girls were on winter break and I was on vacation all week.  Besides a list of tasks around the house, I thought it would be nice to finally go to the Denver Art Museum.  I’ve been wanting to go since we moved here almost ten years ago and even more so since the completion of the expansion.  When other things came up, I remembered that the first Saturday of each month is FREE admission at the museum.  So I finally made it to the museum yesterday.

I realized that crowds aside, it just not possible to take in all the exhibits in one visit, and I wonder if it’s just as crowded on free days when it’s warm outside.  I’ll definitely try again to find out!  I don’t know about the rest of the family, but I think it’s worth the $10 adult admission and $8 child admission to go when it’s not so crowded.

I don't believe humans truly have a purpose. Our goal is to survive until we expire. Period. Joy is pleasurable and worrying is not. Balance in life is crucial; but if the scales must tip, may they tip on the side of joy. I’m just another human trying to survive. I blog because I can and because I enjoy it, not because it serves any purpose.
